I am setting up this fundraiser for Sally, a 47-year-old sole parent who gives everything she has to support her two children financially, emotionally, and physically.

Sally works full time, pays rent, and carries the full responsibility of providing for her family. Recently, she has been hit with a serious knee injury involving loose cartilage, causing significant pain and limiting her ability to work, move around, and care for her children the way she normally does.

What came out of nowhere has quickly become a daily struggle. Sally is doing her best to keep going, but the pain is now affecting even normal day-to-day tasks, and she needs surgery as soon as possible to give her the best chance of recovery.

Her current surgical estimate is around $10,751, with possible additional medical related costs. That is a huge amount for anyone, especially for a sole parent already managing rent, full-time work, the full cost of raising children, and the forever increases in the cost of daily life.

I wanted to set this up to help ease some of that burden and give Sally the chance to have this operation without the overwhelming financial stress that comes with it.

Any donation, big or small, would mean so much and would go directly towards helping Sally pay for her surgery and get back on her feet for herself and her children.
