Help Sally Get Life-Saving Surgery in Phoenix

Dear Friends and Community,

I am reaching out to you today with an urgent plea to support my dear friend, Sally, a beloved elementary school teacher and single mom of 3, who is bravely battling pancreatic cancer.

Her fight has been tough so far, but she has been given a glimmer of hope – the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ, has an opening for her to undergo a crucial surgery on the 12th of August. To prepare for this, she needs to be in Phoenix on the 7th and 8th for necessary CT scans and will require an undetermined amount of time in the hospital post-surgery.

Sally is a strong, fierce, and independent woman who is not one to ask for help, but her situation is dire. She hasn’t been able to work since January and now faces immediate travel and medical expenses. Every bit of support we can gather will tremendously help her and her kids.

Funds raised will be used for:

-Travel expenses, including flights to Phoenix.

-Lodging during her stay for the scans and recovery.

-Any remaining funds will go toward her mounting medical costs.

Sally is a jewel of a human being, cherished by her friends, family, and the countless students whose lives she has touched. Her strength, kindness, and dedication have inspired us all, and now it’s our turn to give back to her.
