Help Salisha and Family Through Financial Tragedy

Hi, I am Salisha Baranwal. And right now I am struggling to pay my school tuition.
I am a third-year student at the University of Michigan, LSA Honors program. I am majoring in Biochemistry and minoring in Women’s Studies. I want to become a doctor and continue my research in both biochemistry and sociology. Because of the pandemic, my family and I have suffered a great deal financially. We have taken out loans but right now, even that option seems to be slipping through our fingers. I have barely been allowed to register for my current semester, on the contingency that I pay for the rest of my tuition soon. So PLEASE donate! I urge you to donate to help me pursue my dreams.
No stranger to these types of struggles. My father lost his job in 2015 in the US and is currently working in India to make enough money for our family, and we barely get to see him as the money needs to be used for the more critical needs like everyday expenses. My father cares deeply about my education and wants me to be able to study and establish myself as a driven professional in the field of medicine.
My dreams and my determination have always helped me through the toughest of times. This time, however, being an immigrant on an F-1 visa, I need community funding to continue my pre-med education and I need your help.
I have always believed in the better side of people, the helping nature of humans is humbling. So I am asking you to put some faith in me and my goals and please help me raise the money for my tuition ($29,000) so I can continue to study.
Despite facing these obstacles, I am a good student, with a GPA of 3.8, who actively takes part in my community. I volunteer at the temple and work for research that involves healthcare and how it is perceived by youths of color. I deserve to get an education, it has always been a form of continuity in my life, with every move, with every setback, I have been able to turn to my studies. So please help me to raise money for my tuition so I can continue my academic journey and be in a position where I can help my community and other students like me.
