Hi friends, family, kind strangers, and anyone who happened to wander here after falling down the internet rabbit hole... welcome! My name is Salina and I’m the very lucky wife of Sam Orth, who also happens to be the bravest human I know.

Three years ago, our world tilted when Sam was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. Since then, our lives have been a blur of chemo, doctor visits, late-night Google searches (don’t do it...seriously), and holding on to every good day with both hands. Recently, we learned that treatments are no longer an option . We are trying our best to stay positive, even though life seems to be testing us.

But here’s the hard truth: while we focus on trying to enjoy the time we have, we find ourselves fighting a different kind of battle. The money stress battle. Sam and I would love to spend our days together with our pups and enjoy the time we do have. I also think Sam deserves all my time and focus. Family has been the biggest help and we want to make sure all the load isn't completely falling on them.

So here I am...humbly, nervously, and with a sprinkle of my anxious awkwardness, asking for help.

If you can spare even a little, it will go directly toward groceries, bills, supplies, and much needed date nights, anything so I can be by Sam’s side without constantly doing mental math in my head. (And let’s be honest, math has never been my strong suit anyway.)
