Salena Stark has dreamed of marching in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade since her freshman year of high school. To prepare for this incredible opportunity, she has dedicated herself to music, participating in Marching Band, Jazz Band, Concert Band, CF Honor Band, UCF Honor Band, and Tri-M Music Honor Society. Along the way, Salena has taken on leadership roles, serving as Trumpet Section Leader in Marching Band and now Historian for the Tri-M Music Honor Society. Her commitment and passion for music have shaped her journey and led to her recent acceptance into the 2026 Macy's Great American Marching Band, where she will march in the 100th Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.
