Salami is a wonderful, sweet cat fighting to recover from histoplasmosis, a fungal disease affecting her internal organs and likely her bone marrow. She is in the hospital now being treated for pancreatitis and complications of her fungal disease. Salami's mom is a veterinary nurse who rescued her from the streets in Virginia and has given her a happy home, endless love, and a chance to recover from her infection . The costs of her care are high, but with help we are hoping to give her a fighting chance to get better and go on to make many biscuits and win many Halloween costume contests for years to come!
