Help Amal Awni’s Family Reach Safety

Hello everyone, my name is Salam Qanouna and this is my story: I am a psychology student working for the last 4 years as a volunteer in the humanitarian field while I still finish my college studies. I was supposed to graduate but then the war began and stopped all of life. Our family consists of 8 people and we need to get to safety and security.

When our entire worlds changed in October, we decided to remain in our home only to be forcefully uprooted by the escalated aggression and ordered by the Israeli forces to evacuate. We were stuck in a school for two months until that too was ordered to evacuate into further displacement until we reached the tent camps of Rafah, all the while constantly fearing for our lives especially as we heard word of an impending ground invasion.

We've endured all types of hardships, from the struggle to secure anything to eat and basic medication to blistering winter nights and constant death around us. We lost so many of our loved ones, our house and belongings, our jobs, and all our means to secure our family past the border into Egypt. We cannot bear any more losses, we cannot bear any more of our loved ones taken from us.

Your help will secure our family of 8, your help is our only means of staying alive.

I urgently, and with the greatest gratitude for your generosity, call upon you to help us survive by crossing the Rafah border into Egypt. The total funds of $40,000 would secure our entry and provide basic necessities for our family of 8 people. Please help save our lives before we lose even the opportunity to leave safely. مرحبا انا اسلام قنونة وهذه قصتي انا طالبة علم نفس عملت في اخر ٤ سنوات من حياتي في العمل التطوعي والانساني ومازلت طالبة في الجامعة كان من المفترض ان انهي لكن الحرب منعتنا من المواصلة اعيش انا وأسرتي المكونة من 8 أفراد

اختي فرح انجزت التوجيهي وقدمت للجامعة ولكن لم تتمكن حتى من التعرف على الجامعة وقد جاءت الحرب

في ٧ اكتوبر بدءت الناس تهرول وتخلي بيوتها نخن اصرينا على البقاء في منزلنا واضطررنا بعد ايام للنزوح في مدرسة وكالة داخل مخيم البريج بامر اخلاء من الجيش الاسرائيلي بقينا نازحين داخل المدرسة لمدة شهرين حتى وان جاء امر باخلاء مخيم البريج كامل فاضطررنا لترك بيتنا والنزوح الي رفح خيمة ونحن الآن في رفح، نترقب ما سيحدث لنا هنا، خاصة بعد سماع أخبار عن الاستعداد لعملية عسكرية برية في رفح، وهو ما يعني عملية عسكرية برية في رفح. مجزرة وإبادة جماعية جديدة. عشنا كافة أشكال المعاناة من النزوح وصعوبة الحصول على الغذاء أو الدواء والبرد القارس في ليالي هذا الشتاء. لقد مرضنا ولم نجد حتى الدواء، وخسرت افرادامن عائلتي في هذه الحرب، ثم خسر والدي عمله وخسرنا منزلنا والآن، لا نملك ما يسمح لنا بمغادرة غزة، ولا أستطيع تحمل خسارة المزيد من أحبائي. لذلك فإن مساعدتكم ستنقذني وعائلتي المكونة من 8 أفراد، فهي وسيلتنا الوحيدة للبقاء على قيد الحياة.

ما أحتاجه هو مبلغ مالي قدره 40000 دولار لتغطية تكاليف تنسيق الخروج من غزة إلى مصر ونفقات المعيشة للاستقرار في مصر حتى نهاية هذه الحرب
