Help Sal Terrazas and his family

Many of you that have known Saul (Sal/Nishka) Terrazas over the years, know that he had always been the life of any party - hell, he was the party! Saul has always been one of the kindest, most accepting and most generous people I have ever known. Saul is a husband, a son, a brother, a friend and so much more to all of us.
I could go on and on about how Saul has changed my life and the others around him in the most amazing of ways.
Some of you know his story, but if you don't, Saul has been in and out of the hospital with a variety of medical issues for more than a decade now.
As recently as the past couple of weeks, he was discharged from the hospital while he was still very ill. He was at Loyola University Medical Center most recently, but was released potentially too prematurely.
He had a quadruple heart bypass three weeks ago, has had a pancreas transplant, has had a kidney transplant, as well as going blind 10 years ago. He also had a colon bacterial infection and has had Diabetes 1, all during the past 10 years. Just when things were moving in the right direction, something else popped up.
Staying in the hospital had been keeping him alive. His pancreas is failing now. This week after he was discharged, he fainted 3 times within the day and had become unresponsive. He was taken by ambulance to Christ hospital where they found another blood clot in his lungs, which was oddly enough presumably missed at Loyola after several tests done during his stay.
Saul and his family have spent so much of their time, money and efforts going back and forth between hospitals, missing work, family events and every other life event, taking care of Saul without hesitancy, because that is the kind of family they are.
Saul has done so much for so many of us and now I'm asking for us to return the favor in some shape or form. Please donate anything you can to help Saul and his family. He doesn't deserve this life and anything will help.
We love you, Saul.
