As many of you may know, my brother Sal was involved in a nearly fatal hit and run motorcycle accident.  He was launched off his bike and run over by a pickup truck.  He was left laying on the road, not able to move a muscle, or able to call for help.  Fortunately, someone nearby eventually saw him laying there and called an ambulance.  Sal is lucky to have survived.  He suffers from a broken hip, broken ankle, broken ribs and bruised lungs.  He was rushed to the ER and ICU where he was immediately taken care of, unable to move any part of his body but his fingers while being in excruciating pain.   He spent months in the hospital and a rehab center after that relearning how to carry out normal daily activities.  With this being a hit and run, there is nothing he can do to help himself get his life back together until he's fully recovered.  He lost his job, his apartment, means of transportation, all his money and has to live with our parents again while he recovers.  The insurance company is not covering everything and a lot was/is being paid out of pocket.  At this point there's nothing else we can do.  Please help Sal get back on his feet, literally and figuratively.   With all the losses he has faced, and pain he has suffered this is the least I could do to help out my beloved brother and I hope you can help too!
