Help Sal and Family Pay for Medical Bills

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Chrissy Borsa, and I am starting a go fund me for my friends the Castigliones. In November of this year, Sal went to the hospital with a sore foot that had been broken but was missed by the doctors by them not doing a simple x-ray. Two weeks later, he ended up in the hospital with a bacterial infection in his foot and had to have his foot amputated to his ankle. 3 days later, he had up to his mid-calf amputated. This has had such an impact on his whole family for many reasons, the biggest one being that he is the main provider for the family and has been out of work for about 6 weeks. Now the medical bills, household bills, and just daily living expenses have been adding up. His wife Tracy has had to put in for a leave of absence for one of her jobs and reduced hours for her other job. He is a big supporter of all his 5 children, including his middle son, Matteo is autistic. He has been having a hard time with his dad being absent from the home and has been upset that his dad will be coming home with his foot missing. His youngest daughter, Guliana is in her senior year, and he was extremely involved in her bowling team that she is on with her high school.
His wife Tracy expressed that my husband has been so awesome through the whole process. He been upbeat and positive. He is has been through so much but is worried about how I am doing, and the kids are rather than himself. He always puts our family first and is loved by everyone.
His oldest daughter Gabriella said, our family has recently been on a very unexpected journey. Our dad Sal, since November of this year, has been in and out of the hospital and has been in for this time since Thanksgiving with misdiagnosed broken foot, to then cellulitis, to then having to have his foot then up to mid-calf amputated, has left us with so much mental stress and so much hurt. Most importantly, we are left with a lot of medical bills and home medical equipment to help with his newfound disability. We are eternally grateful that our dad is still here with us and any help for our family is greatly appreciated. Our dad would help anyone that needed it and would give the shirt off his back if was all he had. He is and always will be an amazing man, husband, father, brother, and coach. His youngest daughter Guliana said, our dad Sal has had to miss my senior year of bowling. He has coached the bowling program at my high school for 8 years, and he is greatly appreciated and respected in the bowling community. He was voted coach of the year in 2022. His bowling girls team really miss him and have been missing him this whole bowling season. Thank you for taking the time to read our story.
The funds that are received will go to helping with all his medical bills that have been coming in, medical equipment fees and medical equipment that they need to purchase, household bills, and daily living for the whole family.
Thank you for taking the time to read about this amazing family and the struggle that they are all having with their husband and father being absent from the family home. If you cannot donate at this time, please share our story so we can reach as many people as possible.
Thank you from all of us!!
