Help Saket Karki Get a Life-Saving Kidney

Donation protected
Hi All,

Shankar Baniya and I are reaching out on behalf of our friend Saket Karki, a Pastor in Kathmandu, Nepal.

  • Saket is in renal failure and needs a kidney transplant.

Our goal is to raise $53,000, of which $8,000 has already been met.

I've known and supported Saket for over 15 years and have come to know him as a wise and tireless servant of God.

Saket is an ordained pastor and part of the leadership team of Ashish Church, which reaches out to the small Christian community of Kathmandu and surrounding districts.

Saket's income from his full-time ministry life is $185.00 per month.

He lives in a tiny flat with his wife Ganga, also a co-leader in the ministry, and her family, all together in a very small space.

Saket has also lived with a significant physical condition. For the past 15 years, he has been a kidney transplant survivor. I've walked with him and Ganga through this, as I was called to cover the cost of his anti-rejection medications, which are $150.00/month. This long-term friendship has bonded us in a way that I'm eternally grateful for.

Saket now needs another kidney. He is on full dialysis, which is also costly.
