Hi I am Saishaan Sachdev, My heart is especially heavy after learning about the devastating fire at One Step Closer Animal Rescue (OSCAR) in Andover, NJ. As an animal lover who deeply cares about the well-being of dogs, I am truly saddened to hear about the loss of three beloved dogs and the damage that has left the shelter uninhabitable.

My family has long been involved in supporting dog rescue efforts, and giving back to animals in need is something that is very close to my hearts. When i heard about this tragedy, I immediately wanted to be part of the good being done to help. I feel deeply for the dogs who rely on this Shelter for safety and love and want to do my part to help them rebuild and recover.

I want to raise funds to support OSCAR during this incredibly difficult time — to help with medical treatment for the surviving dogs, recovery efforts, and rebuilding the shelter so it can continue its life-saving mission.
