Dear friends, colleagues, and well-wishers,

I am writing today with deep concern and hope, reaching out for your support during an incredibly difficult time for a dear friend and his family.

Saira Pokhrel, a courageous 7-year-old girl from Nawalparasi, Nepal, is once again fighting a rare and aggressive form of stomach cancer - embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma. She is the beloved daughter of Mr. Daya Pokhrel, a Food Technologist at Bottlers Nepal (Terai) Limited and a proud alumnus of the Central Campus of Technology, Hattisar Dharan (Batch 2064–2068).

This is now the third time Saira is undergoing cancer treatment.

Over the past year, her journey has taken her through multiple rounds of chemotherapy, surgeries, and treatment both in Nepal and India. Sadly, the cancer has returned. Saira is currently being treated at Bharatpur Cancer Hospital in Chitwan, Nepal, where her care continues with urgency and hope.

The Pokhrel family has done everything possible to provide for her treatment, but after a year of continuous medical expenses, their resources have been completely exhausted. The financial burden is overwhelming, and they now need our help to keep Saira’s treatment going.

Mr. Daya Pokhrel is a respected member of the Nepal Food Scientists and Technologists Association (NEFOSTA), Narayani Chapter, and a kind, dedicated father doing everything he can to save his daughter’s life.

I kindly ask for your support. Every donation, no matter the amount can help cover the cost of Saira’s ongoing treatment, including hospital care, chemotherapy, and medications. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign with your friends, family, and networks.
