SAIMA was recently diagnosed with STAGE 3 CANCER. Saima is ALONE in Canada and is trying to bring her two sons (9 yeras old and 5 years old) and husband to Canada (currently in Pakistan). YOU can truly help.
About Saima:
Saima was diagnosed with breast cancer, stage 3, recently. Because she is in stage 3, she has been in extreme pain and is unable to work or do any physical activity (cooking, laundry etc). SHE HAS NO ONE IN CANADA TO LOOK AFTER HER IN THIS HEART WRENCHING SITUATION.
Saima was born in Pakistan and recently migrated to Canada as a visitor. Before she was diagnosed, Saima had bright plans to bring her two sons and her husband to Canada. Saima was supporting her children’s education by sending money to Pakistan, which is no longer an option as Saima can not work any longer. She used her savings to pay the immigration lawyers.
However, after the diagnosis, she is left in Canada by herself without any support whatsoever. She is currently going to her chemotherapy sessions by public transport. Bliss foundation was recently approached by Saima to help her with the heartbreaking situation she is in.
How will the gofund me donations be used?
To pay for her medical bills that are NOT covered by MSP
To pay for cabs/uber to go to her medical appointments until alternative means of transportation are arranged through community and cancer society programs
To pay for a food service. Due to the pain of stage 3 cancer, she is unable to cook.
To pay for immigrant consultant fees to bring her husband and children to Canada.
What is bliss foundation doing to help her?
We have assigned members to help her with all of her paperwork i.e. applying for EI and other benefits
Our members provide rides to Saima, so that she does not have to take public transportation to her medical appointments (including chemotherapy)
We have provided her with financial help to buy groceries
We have also created this gofund me page for her (ALL FUNDS will be given to her)
About Bliss Sharing Khushiyan Foundation
We are Bliss Sharing Khushiyan (foundation) and our mission is to provide an empowering space for our youth prioritizing their education, life skills and mental health. Our primary focus has been our youth and we have completed several projects for the school we adopted in Punjab, India. With the go fund me support along with several fundraisers we were able to collect and provide this primary school with clean drinking water, helped build and paint 2 additional classrooms along with providing school supplies.
