Our family is going through one of the most difficult times of our lives, and we are asking for support as my dad battles Stage 4 oral cancer.

My dad has always been a hardworking and loving father of 5 (2 of them are his cats) who provided for our family. Unfortunately, his cancer has progressed to the point where he is no longer able to work. My mom has stepped in to care for him full-time, which has also forced her to stop working. Right now, I, his son, am the only one able to provide for our household, and it has become incredibly difficult to keep up with everyday expenses.

My dad will soon undergo a major, life-altering surgery. Doctors will need to remove all of his teeth and about 90% of his tongue in order to stop the cancer from spreading. After this surgery, he will no longer be able to eat solid foods, speak, or have any future dental procedures. Following the surgery, he will begin chemotherapy in hopes of eliminating the remaining cancer in his body.

The road to recovery will be long and challenging. Between medical treatments, recovery time, and the loss of two incomes in our household, the financial burden has become overwhelming. We are raising funds to help cover basic living expenses such as bills, groceries, and other necessities while my dad focuses on healing and my mom continues to care for him.
