I'm am setting up this campaign on behalf of my friend Saif. He is 23 years old and trying to survive in Gaza. Due to the rising commission now at 55% to change electronic funds into cash, this is the best way for Saif to recieve as much of his donation money as possible to use towards food, water, and simple necessities for his family. I am able to wire the money directly to him.

A message from Saif:

My name is Saif, and since the last war in Gaza ended, I no longer have a home to return to.

My house was completely destroyed, and now I live in a simple tent on the Gaza coastline.

We are trying to start over, but life has become heavier than ever.

Each day is a struggle to rebuild what was lost, especially now, as winter is approaching. The air is getting colder, the humidity rises, and the sea in front of us brings damp winds that chill to the bone. We know that the rains will come soon, and we have almost nothing to protect ourselves. The tent is worn out, and one strong storm could easily tear it apart.

Food prices have skyrocketed, cash is scarce, and even the smallest daily needs feel impossible to meet.

Sometimes, we have to cut down on meals just to save a little for the coming days. And when some aid does arrive, high fees and transfer commissions take a large part of it, leaving us struggling again to choose between hunger and cold.

I’m not asking for much, only the basics to prepare for the coming winter:

to reinforce the tent, to get some blankets and simple materials for warmth, and to secure enough food for the hard days ahead.
