Today I met a single mom named Saida at Walmart who works in law enforcement.
I asked her if she had any baby food. Even though she’s going through more than most people could imagine, she chose to help and gave me $20.
To reward her kindness, I gave her $500.
She began to tear up as she shared her story.
Saida is raising three children on her own. She was recently involved in a car accident, and the financial burden has been overwhelming. She’s fallen behind on her bills and mortgage, and every day is a struggle to keep food on the table while making sure her kids have everything they need.
And yet, even in the middle of all that hardship, she still chose generosity.
A mom like Saida shouldn’t have to carry this alone. Let’s rally around her and help pay off her mortgage so she can focus on what matters most—her children and getting back on her feet.
