Hello everyone,

My name is Anusha and I am based in London, UK. I am fundraising on behalf of Saher and his family from Gaza. They are a family of 8 and are trapped in Khan Yunis in the south of Gaza. The ongoing food and aid blockade has made costs for basic human necessities skyrocket, and they need immediate help to survive. I have set up this fundraiser for them as they are unable to do this for themselves from within Gaza.

Following is a breakdown of current costs per month to give you an estimate of the prices to cover basic needs.

To help ease some of their pain, we are raising funds to help them afford htese basic necessities and survive day by day. Given the opportunity, Saher’s family would also like to have the means to leave Gaza as soon as possible.

The donation funds will be sent directly to Saher via PayPal, as this is one of the only ways to send money in Gaza now. If you are able to donate, even the smallest amount could make a difference for Saher and his family.

We continue to hope that the situation is Gaza will improve and Saher's family will one day find security and safety. For now, thank you for your generosity.

I am Saher from Gaza, specifically from the city of Rafah. I will tell you my story. Whoever can help me, do not hesitate.

My family of 8 and I need your help and support, even a little will make a big difference.

I was at home with my family in the Gaza Strip, specifically in Rafah. We had a project for agricultural bathrooms, and we were working to provide for our expenses and our daily sustenance, but...

One day the war came and destroyed everything and the occupation took control of Gaza . My home and my family’s were destroyed, our projects were destroyed, we lost everything we owned, and we had nothing left.

The occupation did not stop there, but expelled us from our homes and our land. We were displaced from the city of Rafah and left for another place to preserve our lives.

We were displaced three times, and each time we suffered a lot to find a place to set up our tent and to move our belongings and clothes.

We are now in a tent in Khan Yunis and we are suffering a lot from the cold and the heat and we are suffering from hunger, lack of food, lack of flour, polluted water and high prices.

Life today is not what it was before. It is now very difficult in all aspects.

I wrote you my story in brief and I want you to help me and my family and donate to us to travel and rebuild our destroyed projects and build our home that we lost.
