Help Sahar and her 7 yr old get to safety!
Spende geschützt
Hi my loves, my name is Caroline Corbett. I’m from the United States, and I’ve created this GoFundMe to support my dear friend Sahar and her 7-year-old son, Ayham, who are doing everything they can to survive the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
Since the beginning of the war, Sahar and her son have been displaced multiple times, living without stable shelter, clean water, food, or electricity. They’ve lost everything, their home, their safety, their sense of peace. Sahar is a devoted mother and a school teacher who once lived a normal, happy life. Now she wakes up every day to bombs, drones, and destruction all around her.
Sahar is doing everything she can to protect Ayham, but they are both suffering deeply. They’re battling trauma, severe malnutrition, dehydration, constant fear, and extreme scarcity. Basic necessities like food, drinkable water, soap, hygiene products, painkillers, and medicine now cost 10 times more, when they’re even available at all.
They urgently need support to:
• Afford safe food, clean water, and hygiene essentials
• Access emergency medical care
• Maintain phone and internet access to stay connected
• Raise the funds needed to evacuate Gaza when possible
Words from Sahar:
“My name is Sahar Abu Hashem. I am a primary school teacher. I was living a peaceful life until the war began. My school was bombed. Some of my students were killed. I suffer from trauma, malnutrition, polluted air, and undrinkable water. My 7-year-old son is suffering too. I cannot protect him from the bombs and destruction. I just want him to survive. The situation is catastrophic. I’m asking for your help to get us out. Even the smallest donation means so much to us.”
Please keep Sahar and Ayham in your thoughts and prayers. Every donation, big or small, helps them survive another day, another night, another moment.
If you can’t donate, sharing this campaign could help reach someone who can. Your support truly saves lives.
Thank you for your compassion, and thank you for standing with them. ❤️
