Sage is a talented and generous musician who moved to Nashville from Oregon to pursue his dream of playing guitar. He lives here on his own, picking up gigs wherever he can and sharing his love of music with everyone he meets. Sage is also a dear friend to our family, and we have known his family for 30 years. They are good, strong, hardworking people, and we are doing this because Sage is a humble, kind person who would never ask for anything himself. Just this past Thursday, Sage was performing with Pimlott at the Mockingbird Theater in Franklin, pouring his heart into every note.

But last night, after another gig in downtown Nashville, Sage faced a heartbreaking setback. While parked in a garage, someone broke into his car and stole all of his music gear—his pedal board, cables, amp, and, most painfully, his guitar. While equipment can be replaced, that guitar held deep sentimental value and was a true companion on his musical journey.

As a young musician, performing is Sage’s only source of income. Without his gear, he can’t take on new gigs or share his music with the community he loves. That’s why we’re reaching out for help.
