Help Sage and his family in his knee surgery recovery.

July 2021 Sage had what should have been a routine knee surgery. After months of follow-up appointments and physical therapy, his knee still was not healing as it should. In January 2022, Sage was admitted to Community Hospital for four days due to a blood infection resulting in complications from knee surgery. Luckily this infection was caught by Sage's primary care physician, where he was referred to one of the best surgeons on the peninsula. As a result, Sage faces a long road to recovery. He is scheduled for another surgery in mid-March to remove the knee hardware placed during July's surgery and a spacer will be placed along with picc line IV for antibiotics to fight blood and bone infections. Sage will be admitted to the hospital during this surgery as recovery will be longer than a routine knee surgery. After recovery, Sage's surgeon plans a total knee replacement to correct the original surgery done in July 2021. In all, Sage's recovery is expected to be 6-8 months before he can return to work... If all goes as planned.

Sage has worked hard to build his business while raising his two children as a single father. As you can imagine, July's surgery complications have cut into Sage's savings. Sage has always helped where help was needed and has a hard time asking for help when in need. Sage could use the help now more than ever.
