Help Sage Get His Surgery
TimberWolff Stables has been providing their family’s personal horses to be used in hippotherapy for countless children over the last 15 years. Hippotherapy is the use of a horse during physical, occupational, and speech therapy for children with a range of disabilities. The TimberWolff Stables horses are invaluable due to their gentle nature, patience, and the lengthy training process they have all undergone. One of their horses, Sage, was recently hospitalized for a week and a half at Michigan State University. He has needed multiple surgeries to correct issues that affect his breathing and eating.
Unfortunately, the urgent surgeries are necessary for Sage to live a healthy, happy life. Having the surgery allows him to be able to continue being in the therapy program.
The cost of the surgery is an expense that is difficult for Timberwolff Stables to absorb. If you are interested in contributing to a horse and to a program that serves many, many people, please consider making a donation. This surgery alone will cost over $12,000. Any donations are greatly appreciated by those at TimberWolff Stables, the children, hippotherapy practitioners, and Sage!
