Sage has become my second best friend (Scout will always have the number one spot) over the last six months, ever since I rescued him and his sisters as strays when they were just eight weeks old. He quickly became my favorite little guy and it’s been amazing to watch him grow and thrive.
Recently, though, Sage has been facing a frightening health challenge. He’s been to the vet four times, but we still don’t have answers about what’s causing his hind leg weakness. It’s heartbreaking to watch him struggle, and now he’s started dragging his back legs. The next step is an MRI, which is crucial for finding out what’s wrong and getting him the treatment he needs.
The cost of the MRI is overwhelming, especially after already spending so much on vet visits and tests in just two weeks. I want to do everything I can for Sage, but I can’t do it alone. The funds raised will go directly toward his MRI and any follow-up care he needs, giving him the best chance at recovery and freeing up more of my resources for his ongoing treatment.
Sage means the world to me, and I’m reaching out for help because I know how much love and support there is in our community. It’s really hard for me to ask for help, and I wouldn’t do it if it wasn’t necessary. Any contribution, big or small, will make a difference in Sage’s journey to healing. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing Sage’s story and the link to this fundraiser. Thank you for considering helping my best friend get the care he deserves.
