My name is Andrea Maynard and I am raising funds to help pay for my beloved dog Sage’s surgery to beat skin cancer. Over the summer Sage grew a small black growth about one cm long on her tummy. We got it biopsied and it turned out to be melanoma. The biopsy alone cost almost $300. They told us that there is a 50% chance the cancer will spread to her organs if we don’t perform surgery. The surgery is estimated to cost $1,600. I am a low income social work grad student who works as a TA for a special education classroom in a small charter high school. Over the summer I had to go to a residential program, which has put me in debt. I have no more savings and live paycheck to paycheck. Please consider donating whatever you can to help me help Sage.
