Help Sage Access Essential Gender-Affirming Care

The time has finally come where I am able to get the gender-affirming care I've waited a very long time for. Like many trans people, gender dysphoria affects my day to day life, not just on a psychological level but also the pain and ongoing health effects of binding daily. Finally being able to access this surgery is one of the best feelings I can ever imagine to have in my life. My surgery is scheduled for November 12th 2024. Unfortunately my insurance denied my renewal a little over a month before my surgery date. Now I am left with the decision to pay out of pocket or postpone and wait 4-6 months or possibly longer for surgery. With gender-affirming healthcare under increasing threat and an ongoing mental and physical struggle daily, it’s very very important that I receive care now. As you can imagine this is pretty devastating to have to figure out. If you know me you know asking for help and assistance from others is very hard for me to do, but this is something I need to survive. Your support would mean the world to me.
