At our school, many of our students come from immigrant families and face significant financial challenges. Despite these obstacles, they show incredible dedication and leadership as members of our Safety Patrols, helping their peers and teachers every day. These students set a positive example and contribute so much to our school community, but often miss out on opportunities that others might take for granted.

This February, our Safety Patrols have the chance to travel to Washington, D.C. to visit the White House and learn about American history firsthand. For many, this would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience—an opportunity to see the nation’s capital, broaden their horizons, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Unfortunately, the cost of train tickets and accommodations is simply out of reach for many of our families, and without support, some students may not be able to join this important trip.

I am committed to making this dream a reality for every student who wants to participate. To show my dedication, I will be completing a Half Ironman as part of this fundraising effort. I believe that with your help—no matter how small the contribution—we can give these students the chance to experience something truly special.
