Summary:

On July 2nd, it is believed that a lightning strike caused a devastating fire that destroyed SafeHope Home, a safe home in the Durham Region for survivors of human trafficking. The women lost all of their belongings - the last of their personal things that they managed to keep after escaping their traffickers. More than just shelter, this space offered trauma therapy, education, and security. Now, that safe space is gone.

We’re raising funds to secure emergency housing, essential items, and a new home to provide stable shelter to the women that Safehope supports. Every donation helps restore safety, dignity, and hope.
