Hungerford Town Football Club are currently experiencing a very challenging period in its history and need your help and support.

Over the last two season the club has struggled behind the scenes. With rising operating costs and money being tighter for everybody we are finding that our running costs have increased significantly and our matchday income has drastically dropped. These struggles have been heightened significantly over the last few months as we have only had four Saturday home games since the 8th November caused by adverse weather.

In light of this and given the significant financial challenges facing the club, we have had to make a series of difficult but essential decisions to ensure we can operate within our means. These decisions are about more than just the playing side. They relate to the essential day-to-day running of the football club and safeguarding its future beyond the current season.

While many of the changes required can only be implemented during the off‑season, the club is currently facing an immediate short‑term cash flow challenge. This appeal is intended to help bridge that gap and help provide stability during this period.

Funds raised through this go fund me will be used to support essential club operating costs, including matchday and facility expenses and the short-term cashflow impacted by the postponed fixtures. They will not be used to increase the playing budget.
