Help Save My Father's Life!

My name is Monica, daughter of Juan Alvarez. My father lives in Valencia, Venezuela. A couple of months ago he started having pain in his stomach and a couple of weeks ago he had to go to the emergency room because of it. There he was diagnosed with a life-threatening aneurysm that needs surgery ASAP.

Due to the dire economic situation in Venezuela, the hospitals don't have absolutely any medications or materials for treatment so one is forced to pay for everything out of pocket in advance. To give him a fighting chance at survival, we need to be able to pay for the pre- and post-operative care and absolutely all the materials they need for surgery, including the prosthesis they need to replace part of his organ.

My father is facing the biggest challenge of his life - a battle against time to undergo surgery that would save his life. With hope in our hearts, we are turning to GoFundMe to rally support from our friends, family and even strangers who could empathize with my father's situation.
