Help Sadie with her autism treatment
Donation protected
This is something I never thought I could do, but I’m putting aside my insecurities, pride, and my fears in order to help my precious little girl.
Sadie was diagnosed with autism in September 2018. Ever since then life has been difficult in the best way. We have seen many doctors and participated in many therapies, and been on many waitlists. It’s been tough because there are many behavior centers that don’t take our insurance. Our insurance only covers 6-11 hours of ABA (applied behavior analysis) therapy a week and Sadie is recommended to participate in 30 hours per week. She is also needs speech and occupational therapies. Because my husband and I work full time we don’t qualify for any state help or benefits. We feel like we are barely paying all our bills and Sadie’s medical costs are becoming a large hardship. We are hoping to get better insurance for 2020, but until then our hearts are hurting because we can’t afford to get Sadie all the therapies she needs.
We want Sadie to become the best version of herself. She is the sweetest and spunkiest little girl and we love her so deeply. We want Sadie to be able to attend the Carmen B Pingree Austin center for learning and get all the therapies she needs to grow and learn. We are grateful for any advise, insights, donations, and support. Thank you very much:)
