For this year's Courtwarming fundraiser, we were tasked with choosing a charity that we felt deserved our time and money. We couldn't think about a national charity or group when one of our own is struggling. The senior class is raising money to help the family of Sadie Robinett. Sadie is a freshman at Southern Boone High School and is currently fighting for her life at St. Louis Children's Hospital. Sadie was diagnosed with leukemia in 2021 and has undergone numerous tests, treatments, and long hospital stays since. Right now Sadie is fighting a toxic reaction from one of the chemo medications she was given. While we can't take away the emotional stress her family feels, we would like to try to help ease some of the financial stress that comes with a lengthy medical crisis. Any and all donations given will directly benefit Sadie and her amazing family.
