Help Sadie recover from Kidney Failure

Hello, my name is Sadie.

Over the last three years, I've gone through many changes in my life. I came out to myself, my family and friends as trans. I've met lots of wonderful new friends. I've tried to take better control of my health and took up running and cycling.

Unfortunately, depression and health complications have tried and often succeeded in taking this back from me.

While freeing in so many ways, transitioning is challenging to navigate and has compounded my depression and anxieties. In addition, the price of medication, doctor's appointments and bloodwork is also a constant threat that I can't always meet.

I also suffer from hypertension. While diet and exercise initially alleviated blood pressure issues, complications with Covid-19 have brought them back in full swing and much more debilitating than before. I continue to deal with fatigue, high blood pressure, tension headaches, nausea and vomiting that have not subsided since my initial Covid infection. These symptoms have made working difficult and doing simple tasks like laundry and cooking. As a result, I have to tackle essential tasks on "good days," which have gotten fewer and fewer.

My goal is to rebuild my life into something manageable and get back to a place where I can succeed. Manage my blood pressure and chronic issues from covid, get my car back in working order, get consistent work, get back to living a sustainable life.

My first goal is to get help affording the doctor's appointments and medication to combat my hypertension and get my car and insurance back in working order to be well enough to find and keep consistent work. Affording my transition-related healthcare expenses comes third, but any help towards that end is also appreciated.

As a journal of sorts, I intend to post regular updates towards these goals. I've already found finally sitting down and writing this to be helpful mentally.
