In 2024, I rescued Sadie when she was about two years old. She had been abandoned on an industrial estate, pregnant with six puppies. Thankfully, all of her puppies found their forever homes and are doing well, and Sadie has become the most amazing companion and best friend I could have ever hoped for.

Sadly, Sadie is now facing some serious health challenges. She has two chipped teeth, and I'm not sure how it happened, maybe from being hit by a car before I got her, maybe from trying to free herself, or something even worse. Alongside this, she’s been struggling for over a year with intermittent lameness on the same side as her broken teeth.

To find out what’s going on, Sadie needs a CT scan and arthroscopies, The possibilities range from elbow dysplasia to a stress fracture, arthritis, or other conditions, but without these tests, I can’t get answers or start the right treatment.

Unfortunately, Sadie’s insurance won’t cover the costs, and they’re already more than I can manage alone. I’m working overtime to build my funds back up, but I know this won’t just be a simple scan; it’s likely the beginning of a long road of care for her.

It breaks my heart to have to ask for help, but I’ll do anything to make sure Sadie gets the treatment she needs. If you’re able to contribute, no matter how small, it will make a huge difference for her future. Even sharing this page would mean the world.
