This is my wonderful rescue dog, Sadie. She is the sweetest little dog I've ever met, very gentle and loving to everyone she meets! She is a smallish terrier cross, about 8kg, with a long back and short legs. We don't know how she lost the lower part of her leg, it was gone when the rescue found her. It does not look like it was removed by a vet so may have been an injury. She gets around by hopping and can go on walks of up to a 1/2 mile before becoming too tired to carry on. Her spine is starting to twist and she will develop further back problems from this type of movement as she grows older. A prosthetic leg will help her get around as a normal dog, get more exercise, and help prevent future health issues.
We have contacted OrthoPets (https://www.orthopets.co.uk/orthotics-and-prosthetics/) who have quoted £1853.37 for the prosthetic to be made and fitted, which is beyond what our current financial situation can afford. Any monies raised beyond this goal will be donated directly to Paws2Rescue, the charity who saved Sadie from a doomed life on the streets.

UPDATE - If you send a paypal donation rather than using gofundme, I will lower the total goal amount and deposit the paypal directly into the Sadie's New Leg savings account to save on additional fees.
