Hi, I'm Carmen, and I have a very special Husky girl named Sadie under my care who urgently needs your help. Sadie was recently diagnosed with acute kidney disease, a serious medical condition that requires immediate and intensive treatment. Just today, I had to rush her to MedVet emergency critical care. She was so brave, but the situation is critical. Sadie’s condition required leaving her for inpatient care for fluids and observation.

We've already been financially stretched thin by Sadie's ongoing battle with Cushing’s disease for several years, with proper but costly treatment. Now, with this sudden kidney crisis, the costs are overwhelming. The first 24 hours of care alone are estimated at several thousand dollars, and each additional day in the hospital adds significantly to the total. Sadie will also need specialized tests and ongoing monitoring to give her the best chance at recovery.

Sadie has had a tough journey. She was found alone in the California desert, rescued, and eventually came into my life. From the start, she faced health challenges, but her gentle spirit and resilience have inspired me every day. Despite limited help from her rescue, I've done everything I can to give her a loving home and the medical care she needs. Now, as her condition worsens, I am reaching out for help.
