Hi, I’m Sadie — a high school wrestler with the opportunity to represent Texas at National Team Duals this summer, and I’m also headed to Oklahoma for the Southern Plains Regionals, a Fargo qualifying tournament. Wrestling at this level takes more than talent — it takes years of hard work, long practices, tough weekends, balancing school, and working as many hours as possible outside the wrestling room. I’ve poured everything I have into this sport because my goal is to become an All-American and wrestle in college someday. The costs add up quickly with travel, hotels, meals, tournament fees, and gear. My family and I have covered my wrestling expenses all season, and I work to help pay my way, but these national-level opportunities are expensive. If I qualify for Fargo through Southern Plains, that opportunity would add even more travel and competition costs.
