Hi, this is Nick the creator and frontman of the punk band "sad cat". Recently our studio that we were renting out was broken into, and around $8000 worth of instruments, recording equipment, computers and sentimental items were stolen. The police have been little to no help, and the insurance that I was paying for fucked us over and is only giving us 10% of the cost of our losses.

Myself, Devon (drums), and Stone (bass) have all lost a lot of the equipment that we need to record and perform, so we are currently on hiatus until we can get enough equipment back to resume our livelihood.

I had been collecting my equipment little by little for the past 3 years ever since sad cat first started, and it's really disheartening just to have it all stolen in 1 night. 

For anyone who wants to help contribute to getting sad cat back on its feet; I just want you to know that I appreciate you immensely!!!!!
