Western medicine has failed my sister. She has been to top Neurologists in California (USC and UCLA medical center), Colorado university hospital, Las Vegas, and Texas university. Each doctor gave up after running a few tests and said “we cannot help you.”
Sachi was born in 1980 and by the age of 2, our parents and doctors realized that she had a disability. There were physical delays with her milestones and her first steps were at 2 1/2 years old. The main issues were Balance and motor control, which was originally diagnosed as Cerebral Palsy. As she got older, the doctors begin to say that it actually wasn’t Cerebral Palsy.
For many years she walked with the assistance of AFO braces. During high school, she had to start using a wheelchair to get around. After graduating from college at the age of 22, things began to worsen with her physical condition. She decided to see a neurologist at UCLA medical Center and they recommended doing a spinal tap. This led to a diagnosis of CIDP (Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy). The doctors decision was to put Sachi on a very high dose of prednisone, which caused her to lose all mobility that she had left because of the weakness.
After seeing several other neurologists in other states, they said that her condition was related to something other than CIDP but said “we cannot help you.”
Sachi has not been able to use the Bachelors degree that she worked hard to complete at USC (Music Industry) and is now completely dependent on a caregiver for her daily needs.
Through all of this though, she still keeps a smile on her face and is the most giving, strong, and happy person I know! She is so smart and has such good advice. She is an uplifter for everyone she knows.
Sachi has decided to start seeing a Naturopath doctor to try her to get her independence back. He is the first Doctor who has said “I can help you correct this.”
She has been studying and researching for the past couple of years and has a bookshelf full of books on health, healing, wellness, and spirituality. She is determined to heal herself and I have faith that trying something different will work!
If you don’t personally know Sachi, reach out to her and see the truth I am speaking about her.
Sachi needs financial help for doctors visits, transportation to and from the doctors office, supplements, Oxygen therapy, and Cranial Sacral Therapy, which are outside of the Western medicine scope.
I’m trying to raise $15,000 In the next couple of months to help my sister heal her body and get her independence back.
If you are not in the position to donate, that is OK and thank you for reading this. I’d like to ask that you send prayers and positive thoughts our way. Thank you!
