Hi, My name is Kenny and I was rescued by the sweetest pitbull 6 years ago. His name is Sabu and he’s one of the most loving AND active dogs you’d ever meet. Sabu and I have been living on the road for over 4 years in a tiny Airstream (travel trailer). It breaks my heart to see him struggling. If you’ve ever met Sabu, you know how obsessed he is with fetch. Over the last 2 months he hasn’t been able to walk on all 4 paws let alone play, hike, or go on walks without “3 legging it”. He has 2 torn “ACLs”(on dogs they are called CCLs) and needs surgery on both back legs. So even the one he is using is torn. :-(

I am full time photographer and make my living by teaching workshops. Life hasn’t been the easiest these last few years as you can imagine. I seem to always scrape by and make it happen. However, I’m at a point where seeing him in pain has brought me to a place where I must swallow my pride. I’m not the type of person to EVER ask for monetary help. I’m here because he needs help and I’m his voice. I can’t afford these 2 surgeries and we need help. Sabu has touched so many lives and people along his way/journey. He needs to be able to carry on and live this adventure life he’s come so accustomed to living without being in pain.
