My name is James Sloan and I am trying to help my daughter Sabrina.

On 2/7/25, her 4-year-old son accidentally head-butted her, fracturing a piece of bone in the back of her nasal cavity, which in turn punctured the meninges (a sac that holds the spinal fluid around the brain), and the spinal fluid is seeping out of her nose. She is in Barnes Hospital in St. Louis Missouri

On 2/9/25, she lost her sight. (We are very hopeful her sight will return) The doctors are confident they can repair the damage, but the recovery time will take months.

I am trying this as an effort to help her with mounting medical bills and to assure she gets the best care possible, as well as to avoid losing her home. At the time this happened, she had been in college to become a certified nurse and acing her courses for 2 years. Her purpose in life is to help others. (She states this all the time).

I am pleading with the great people reading this to please help her make it through this and to achieve her goals of helping others that might be in the same position she has found herself in at this time.

Sabrina is a loving caring person to all that she she meets and an awesome mother to her son Finley who misses her being with him very much!!
