Sabrina, a bright and determined young woman, has been battling a rare and life-threatening blood disorder, Diamond-Blackfan Anemia (DBA), since she was just a baby. Diagnosed at just seven weeks old, she has faced countless challenges with courage and resilience.

Despite her health struggles, Sabrina has excelled academically, graduating from Rutgers University with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. She has always been a fighter, overcoming obstacles and pursuing her dreams. A few months before graduating, Sabrina became red cell transfusion dependent which would end up being life threatening long term.

In September 2024, Sabrina received the life-changing news that a bone marrow donor match had been found through NMDP.org (National Marrow Donor Program). After undergoing 8 days of rigorous rounds of chemotherapy, she underwent a bone marrow transplant on October 25, 2024. While this procedure offers hope, it has taken a significant toll on Sabrina's health. She is currently battling severe pain, hair loss, mucositis, and other side effects from the chemo. Your support will not only help with medical expenses but also provide emotional comfort during this challenging time.

* Temporary living expenses and daily necessities: (Sabrina must be in close proximity to CHOP and cannot stay at her primary residence)
