Help Sabrina Hunt with Home Foundation Repairs

This GoFundMe is being established to support Sabrina Hunt who lost her 19-year-old daughter, Grace Hunt, in a tragic car accident on February 17, 2022. If any of you have seen South Granville Highschool Women’s Basketball team play, then you may know Grace Hunt and how she lived life to the fullest doing all that she could.
Sabrina is now navigating sudden loss and grief while also dealing with foundation issues with her home.
Gutter guards were previously installed on her home and instead of functioning as normal, they allowed water to overrun the gutter and into the foundation of her home causing the foundation to sink. As a result, a structural engineer has made the following repair recommendations to ensure the safety of her home:
- Ensuring that stormwater drains positively away from the home to minimize the risk of future water infiltration.
- Hiring a contractor to install a foundation drain along the front foundation wall of the garage.
- Hiring a mason to repair the damaged section of the front foundation wall.
- Hiring a mason to replace the damaged brick units and mortar joints of the garage foundation.
- Hiring a contractor to install blocking between the floor joists that align with the jambs of an interior door above.
- Hiring a contractor to re-shim/level/plumb the garage door and an interior door.
- Extending the existing vapor barrier throughout the crawl space.
- Leveling the garage infill slab.
