Help Sabrina Get a New Prosthetic Ear

Thank you for visiting my GoFundMe. I appreciate your time and consideration. My name is Sabrina. I was born without my right ear and when I was 5 years old I had a surgery that gave me a prosthetic ear.

In May of 2023, I had a scab form on the upper part of my ear that didn't heal like it usually would. The scab became bigger and after a few dermatologist appointments (that took months) I was finally referred to someone who knows what to do- the plastic surgeon that did my surgery when I was 5.

Unfortunately my prosthetic is now clearly showing and the top portion of skin is an "open hole" so to speak. The surgeon said that no matter what- I need to have my whole ear replaced because it is now compromised and exposed.

In order to have this process done, it would be out of pocket. It is not covered by insurance and I ask that people please not try to give any suggestions or advice. Everyone involved has done what they could to bring the price down but the wait for that is a year minimum. We haven't heard back about making the surgery appointment for that option yet and it has been a month now. I strongly prefer having this surgery sooner than that minimum year+ because it bleeds and causes me pain every day.
