Ayúdame! Help Sabrina Get a Life-Saving Kidney Transplant

This is Sabrina.

She’s vibrant, funny, creative, deeply caring—and right now, she’s fighting for her life.

A few months ago, Sabrina survived a traumatic car accident that left her with a shattered ankle, internal injuries, and intense chronic pain. The reckless driver who caused it left her and her driver bleeding in the street—and never looked back.

I paid for her emergency surgery, months of follow-ups, pain management, and rehab. I’ve done everything I could to support her emotionally and financially. And still, this nightmare has taken a cruel turn: a complication from prescribed pain medication has now caused one of her kidneys to fail completely.

Doctors have confirmed she is in severe renal failure, and the remaining kidney may not hold out much longer. She is now facing the terrifying possibility of needing a kidney transplant to survive.

The Cost of Survival

The estimated cost for Sabrina’s transplant—including pre-op tests, surgery, medications, hospital stays, and post-op recovery—is $57,000–$60,000.

She lives in Carabobo, Venezuela, where the public transplant system has all but collapsed. Her family has no savings, and I’ve already spent the little I had to keep her alive and healing after the accident. Her uncle is even looking to sell the last property in the family just to help cover what we can.

We’re exhausted. But we’re not giving up.

Why I'm Asking For Help

I’ve never asked for this kind of support before. But I can’t let money be the reason Sabrina’s story ends here. She’s still young. Still full of light. Still fighting. But she can’t win this alone.

Ayuda a Sabrina a conseguir el trasplante de riñón que necesita para sobrevivir

Ella es Sabrina.

Es vibrante, divertida, creativa, muy cariñosa y, ahora mismo, lucha por su vida.

Hace unos meses, Sabrina sobrevivió a un traumático accidente de coche que le dejó un tobillo fracturado, lesiones internas y un intenso dolor crónico. El conductor imprudente que lo provocó los dejó a ella y a su conductor sangrando en la calle, y nunca miró atrás.

Yo pagué su cirugía de emergencia, meses de seguimiento, manejo del dolor y rehabilitación. Hice todo lo posible para apoyarla emocional y económicamente. Y aun así, esta pesadilla ha dado un giro cruel: una complicación por analgésicos recetados ha provocado que uno de sus riñones falle por completo.

Los médicos han confirmado que padece insuficiencia renal grave y que el riñón restante podría no resistir mucho más. Ahora se enfrenta a la aterradora posibilidad de necesitar un trasplante de riñón para sobrevivir.

El Costo de la Supervivencia

El costo estimado del trasplante de Sabrina —incluyendo pruebas preoperatorias, cirugía, medicamentos, hospitalización y recuperación posoperatoria— es de $57,000 a $60,000.

Vive en Carabobo, Venezuela, donde el sistema público de trasplantes está prácticamente colapsado. Su familia no tiene ahorros, y ya he gastado lo poco que tenía para mantenerla con vida y recuperándose del accidente. Su tío incluso está buscando vender la última propiedad de la familia solo para ayudarnos a cubrir lo que podamos.
