I’m setting this up on behalf of Sabreen Y A Jadallah and her children, Rafif (6) and Muhammad (3) in Gaza as they are unable to do so from there themselves. I am in London. I am in direct contact with them having seen their verified documents and medical papers. Money will be transferred to them via PayPal or taken to Egypt to meet them at the crossing should funds be sufficient to do so.
A letter from Sabreen below:-
I am Sabreen from Gaza, mother of two beautiful children, Rafif and Muhammad. Rafif is 6 years old and Muhammad is 3 years and 4 months old. Muhammad is a very beautiful child with a charming smile, but he has been sick with a heart disease since birth. He suffers from insufficiency in the pulmonary arteries that feed the heart, and he also has narrowing in the right ventricle. He underwent major heart surgery at the age of 4 days, and also underwent two cardiac catheterizations, and a major operation called GLEN at the age of one year. Muhammad now suffers from a decrease in the percentage of oxygen in the blood day after day, as the percentage of oxygen in the blood reaches 73%. He is unable to walk for several metres, and stops walking because he feels tired, in addition to losing weight due to the lack of medicine, healthy food, clean sanitary water, and the necessary capabilities to maintain his health, due to the conditions in Gaza. Muhammad was supposed to have a diagnostic appointment to prepare for the second major operation in November 2023 in a hospital outside the Gaza Strip. But unfortunately, due to the conditions in Gaza, he was not able to leave the Gaza Strip and travel for treatment, or undergo any review, or obtain an echocardiogram or surgery, even inside hospitals in the Gaza Strip, due to the lack of capabilities, lack of medical staff, lack of fuel, and lack of medicine and medical supplies. Muhammad is now fighting death, as he is in dire need of a second major heart surgery
After 7 months of suffering, I was able to reach Al Hilal Emirates Hospital and obtain a medical examination from his treating physician along with a medical delegation from outside the Gaza Strip. The medical delegation said that Muhammad’s health condition is bad and declining, and within 6 months he must undergo surgery. Major, and for cardiac catheterization before the operation. He also said that his health condition does not allow him to wait any longer. The doctor wrote me a medical referral for treatment outside the Gaza Strip through the hospital, but the number of cases that need to be transferred outside the Gaza Strip, including wounded, injured, and intensive care patients, is very large and will take a long time, more than 6 months. I am losing my child’s life day after day. My husband, my family, and I live in very difficult and oppressive financial circumstances due to the war, the high cost of living, and the high cost of medicine. In addition, our house was damaged, so we were forced to flee to Rafah. We need to travel to save my son's life.
Our fundraising goal through the campaign is $85,000, distributed as follows:
• $15,000 to complete the Rafah Crossing Permit with a fee of $5,000 per adult and $2,500 per child, covering a total of 4 individuals, including 2 adults and 2 children.
• $50,000 cost of major heart surgery.
• $2,500 cost of cardiac catheterization.
• $15,000 for medications, emergency health care, housing, clothing, and food for six months of post-operative follow-up and settlement in Egypt.
• Approximately $2,500 has been allocated to cover GoFundMe campaign transaction fees (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction).
Thank you so much on their behalf for your support and generosity
