Help Saad Play Guitar Again
Donation protected
Hi everyone who’s reading this (thanks for stopping by),
I’m raising money to help cover the costs of treatment as I’m recovering from a freak accident that resulted in the amputation of my middle finger and several large metacarpal fractures.
For those of you that know me, you know that I’ve spent my entire life devoted to fingerstyle guitar. I earned my bachelors degree in classical guitar performance from Whittier College in 2016 and I never thought I’d be in a situation quite like this. I’m sad to say that without proper treatment, surgery and a specialized prosthetic - I might never play that music again. I can’t type or write at the moment but I’m optimistic that there’s hope for me to lead a mostly normal rest of my life and that I can play my guitar as well as I used to sometime in the future. It’s a long road ahead but you guys know me, Im pretty confident I can get through this with the right attitude and some faith!
Currently, my right hand is fully paralyzed but there is hope for me to regain somewhat normal use with hard work and lots of physical therapy.
Whether or not you’re able to chip in, I’m glad you’ve stopped by to hear my story and I’ll take all the prayers and well wishes I can get.
All the best
- Saad
