Hi everyone, I’m reaching out to ask for your support in raising the remaining funds needed to cover legal expenses for our beloved community member, S, a dedicated social worker who was unjustly arrested in Missouri in June.

As a queer and trans social worker, S has spent his career caring for others and standing up for what's right. Now, he needs that same care and solidarity in return. He's facing scary charges and need legal representation to fight for justice — something no one should ever have to do alone.

Thankfully, we’ve found a lawyer who believes in S and has generously offered a discounted flat fee of $2,000 due to S's work in our community. Thanks to the kindness of friends and supporters, we’ve already raised a few hundred dollars — but we still need $1,000 to close the gap.
