We never imagined we’d be in a position like this, but we’re reaching out with hope in our hearts for our beloved dog, Ryu. Over the past two months, he has developed an aggressive carcinoma tumor that now requires urgent treatment. Watching this happen so quickly has been devastating, especially because Ryu is still so full of life.
Ryu isn’t just a pet—he’s family. He’s my husband’s best friend and my 3-year-old daughter’s constant companion. He’s the kind of dog who still acts like a puppy, always playful, a little mischievous, and endlessly loving. He brings laughter into our home every single day, whether it’s through his silly antics or the way he stays right by our side no matter what.
It’s hard to reconcile the seriousness of his condition with the happy, energetic dog we see in front of us. He still has so much life left to live, so many memories left to make with our family. That’s why we’re doing everything we can to get him the treatment he needs.
We’re asking for help to cover the cost of his surgery and care so that Ryu can have the chance he deserves. Between being rear ended 3 weeks ago, my husband's spinal surgery last week, and some other unforseen circumstances, our family will not be able absorb the cost of this surgery and we are desperate to help him. Any support—whether it’s a donation or simply sharing his story—means more to us than we can express. Thank you for helping us fight for our goodest boy.
