Help Ryoju & Mako recover from hurricane flood

Hurricane Ida destroyed a large area in NYC, including our neighborhood in Astoria, Queens.

We hope you and your loved ones in the affected areas are safe.

Unfortunately, we are not in a safe situation right now.

Because the apartment in Astoria which we have been living in got flooded vigorously in an extremely short time on the evening to late night of September 1st, we were unable to save much of our belongings. The apartment became unlivable in just a few minutes due to extreme flooding from the hurricane including directly overflowing sewage. We are still in the process of trying to save as much stuff as possible now.

Most of our furniture sunk in unsanitary knee deep water, meaning we lost almost all of our furniture in front of our eyes in just a few minutes time.

We also need to evacuate from this insanitary and dangerous situation as soon as possible.

As of now, we do not have any immediate, efficient resources that allow us to evacuate to a safe place and able us to transport and store undamaged belongings needed for work.

We are in an emergency situation, and we are asking for your help in saving Mako and Ryoju from this terrible flooding incident.
