Hey! My name is Rylie (aka Dino Cow) Im 19 and I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome.

Ehlers Danlos is a genetic condition that I was born with, and it affects my everyday life. I have joint instability, which means that I dislocate my hips & shoulders on a daily basis. I have extreme hypermobility, which over the years has put a huge strain on my joints. I have chronic pain in my back, hips and knees.

I also have other mobility affecting conditions, such as my internal tibial torsion, which causes me to walk with my toes touching inwards. This also makes my walking very unstable and unsafe.

7 months ago, I took the leap to listen to my body and buy my first wheelchair, with the help of a few kind people on tiktok. As I only raised £300, I could only afford a second hand wheelchair. 

My trusty Kuschall has lasted me 7 great months, where I have been more confident leaving my house, knowing I cant fall and hurt myself. Now, however, it has come to a point where it is just broken and unsuitable for me. 

I would absolutely love to have a custom wheelchair made for me, that fits perfectly to my measurements, and meets my requirements for my daily needs.
